San Francisco Bay Area Buyers Spur New Homebuilding Activity At Mountain House

MOUNTAIN HOUSE, CA, March 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) San Francisco Bay Area shoppers aiming to buy a new home in 2013 are finding an outstanding array of new choices at Mountain House in the East Bay. Four new neighborhoods are on the horizon, giving shoppers a total of 10 design lines to consider at this popular new town. Grand opening celebrations for the upcoming new model homes are scheduled this spring and summer.

Situated in the villages of Questa and Altamont, new homes at Mountain House are attainably priced from about $320,000 to about $500,000. Floorplan sizes range from about 1300 to 3540 square feet, and feature diverse layout configurations for diverse households and preferences.

The new neighborhoods coming to the village of Questa are Alicante by Standard Pacific Homes, Terrazzo by Lennar Homes and Santorini by Richmond American Homes. Shea Homes plans to expand its Campania and Antigua designs, bringing them to a newer area of the village of Questa. Also underway at Mountain House is Mountain House High School, with the new campus slated to open for the 2014-2015 academic year. The high school will serve Mountain House students, coming from the acclaimed elementary schools in each established village. The newest of these is Sebastian Questa Elementary, which serves K-8 students throughout the village of Questa. With construction well underway, the new campus is scheduled to open for the 2014-2015 academic year. It will incorporate programs and technologies for college-bound students, and include vocational education facilities, classrooms, administrative facilities, gym and cafeteria.

Mountain House has four villages, five parks, three high-ranking K-8 schools, a library and the upcoming Mountain House High School. At completion, the community will include 10 villages, additional K-8 schools and a Town Center with shopping, entertainment, and dining. Some 750 acres of reserved open space also highlight Mountain House.
