SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) The BizWorld Foundation has announced the appointment of Harry Gould, Senior Vice President, Informatica Systems, as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. The BizWorld Foundation inspires children to be innovative leaders through the teaching of entrepreneurship, business and finance. BizWorld connects third to eighth grade students to the real world by providing curricula, training educators and fostering collaboration between education and business.
Mr. Gould has served on The BizWorld Foundation's global board since 2007, and in that time has proved himself to be an enthusiastic and dedicated supporter of BizWorld's mission. Harry Gould has over twenty years of leadership experience building global sales and alliance strategy, as Senior Vice President at Informatica, he is focused on global growth and performance excellence.
"I am very enthusiastic about the future of the Board of The BizWorld Foundation and the organization behind it," said Harry Gould, new BizWorld Chairman "I am looking forward to seeing the strategic vision through, with the larger goal of inspiring as many students as possible."
BizWorld's previous Chairman and Founder, Tim Draper, Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, will take the new title of Founder and Chair Emeritus. Draper is an advocate for entrepreneurs and the principles behind BizWorld's mission and will continue to be a vitally important member of the Board of Directors.
