CARTA news.fiu.edu deploys cutting-edge digital technology to connect the College with its alumni, students and the broader local and global communities.
Brian Schriner, Dean of the College of Architecture + The Arts, commissioned CARTA students to create CARTAnews as a way to present CARTA-specific up-to-the-minute content, information, and news to students, alumni, and the community whenever and wherever they want it.
"Designed and maintained by CARTA students, the innovative CARTAnews leverages the College's creative talents," said Schriner.
The new site is optimized for smartphones and smaller tablets, providing an easy mean for members of their local and global community to openly join in a Facebook or Twitter conversation about what's going on in the College.
"Visitors to CARTAnews.fiu.edu will experience a more vibrant and seamless view of the college and its exciting activities, events and newsworthy stories. We've streamlined access to our very rich content, making virtual visits to the College of Architecture + The Arts more exciting and informative than ever."
