Brooke Urbaniak from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho won the first position on the overall scores category, and Nadina Mrkaljevic from Spokane, Washington won the first position on the judge's score category. The Tara's Elegance modeling contest was designed to identify promising new models and to offer these models the opportunity to work with fashion industry professionals.
Of the 34 contestants who entered the initial round of contest, top 10 finalists were selected. The finalists underwent training by Fifth Element Talent Production prior to the runway event. The contestants were selected based on evaluation by a panel of judges, and a round of public voting. Brooke was ecstatic to win the contest and said, "I am really excited to win this contest." After winning the first position in the Judge's score category, Nadina Mrkaljevic said, "This is the best experience in my life." Nadina aspires to be a medical doctor one day. Contestants were awarded more than $4000 worth of prizes and gifts. The event also included vocal and dance performances, and silent auction to raise fund for charities, Binaytara Foundation and Lewis Clark Valley Literacy Council.
