A new neighborhood of luxury, move-up homes has attracted the attention of eager home shoppers in San Diego. Watermark, by Pardee Homes, is now selling, offering 3 floor plans with 5 bedrooms and up to 4,351 sq. ft. Pricing is from $1 million.

2013-03-22
SAN DIEGO, CA, March 22, 2013 (Press-News.org) The spring home buying season is off and running at Pardee Homes' Watermark in Pacific Highlands Ranch. The grand opening attracted hundreds of families eager to tour the model homes and add their names to the interest list. The builder released eight homes for sale one week following the grand opening and sold all eight homes.

"The three striking models have been among the most well received homes we have built in the Pacific Highlands Ranch community," said Matt Sauls, director of marketing for Pardee Homes. "When potential buyers tour our models they can see how much thought and detail is put into each Pardee home. The model homes allow homebuyers to experience the floor plan and the lifestyle that translates into a beautiful home of their own. We are extremely pleased with our first sales release and anticipate a second release April 6th."

Luxurious in size and design, Watermark features three, two-story floor plans boasting five bedrooms and square footage ranging from approximately 3,636 to 4,351 square feet. From the over-sized gourmet kitchens to the expansive and luxurious master bedroom suites, these homes are filled with impressive amenities and feature an array of room choices that allow the buyer to create their own vision of home. Room options may include an available outdoor living room, game nook, optional library, or complete suite with private entry.

Other features include stainless steel G.E. Monogram kitchen appliances, solid maple cabinetry, granite kitchen countertops and Andersen E-series dual panel French doors. Extra large kitchens with versatile food preparation islands, cozy kitchen eating nooks, formal dining rooms, luxurious master bedroom suites with dual or oversized walk-in closets and welcoming front porch entries can be found in all three floor plans, in addition to an array of eco-friendly features.

Watermark showcases Pardee Homes LivingSmart brand that incorporates standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, help reduce water consumption and improve indoor air quality. "Our LivingSmart program is designed to offer added value to the homes at Watermark, providing homeowners with lower energy and water bills and greater indoor comfort. With LivingSmart, energy efficiency exceeds California's Title 24 criteria," added Sauls. "Water-thrifty appliances, plumbing and the use of low VOC (volatile organic compound) materials are among the LivingSmart standards. Buyers can also add such features as photovoltaic systems for in-home solar power, whole house water filtration, and tankless water heaters."

Priced from $1 million, Watermark is located in coastal-close Pacific Highlands Ranch, adjacent to Carmel Valley. The community is surrounded by 1,300 acres of preserved natural habitat and back country views while also offering residents close proximity to beaches, shopping, hiking trails and many highly rated public and private schools. The neighborhood is served by schools in the Solana Beach School District and San Dieguito Union High School District. Eighty-seven homes are planned for Watermark.
