Meyer & Depew President Bobby Ring Named Board Chairman of Air Conditioning Contractors of America

At its annual conference and expo, held during the first week of March in Orlando, Florida, the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) selected Bobby Ring to serve as Chairman of its 2013-2014 Board of Directors.

WHITEHOUSE, NJ, March 23, 2013 (Press-News.org) Mr. Ring officially took his position at the annual Chairman's Banquet and will serve a one-year term. The ACCA is the nation's largest association of indoor environmental systems professionals. Mr. Ring is president and CEO of New Jersey-based Meyer & Depew Co.

In making the announcement, Paul T. Stalknecht, President and CEO of ACCA stated, "Bobby Ring now brings his own unique energy and outlook to continue the association down the path that has been set, while adding focus to some areas that are of great interest to him. The members can be confident that ACCA is prepared for another productive and successful year regardless of what challenges may present themselves in the next 12 months."

Mr. Ring assumes the board chairmanship with a background of distinguished service and considerable experience. He has spent more than thirty-two years in the HVAC business and is President/CEO of Meyer & Depew Co., a New Jersey-based residential and light commercial HVAC contractor. He serves on the Board of Directors of the ACCA New Jersey State Association and is also a Past President of the North Jersey Chapter of ACCA where he has been a member since 1981.

In addition to making numerous presentations at past ACCA conferences and authoring articles for Contracting Business magazine, he recently provided commentary as an HVAC industry expert in a segment on air conditioning servicing that appeared in the "Rossen Report" during the NBC Today Show.

"I am greatly honored by this chairmanship and humbled by the achievements of past board members who have served with great dedication, energy and vision," stated Mr. Ring. "It is with this tradition of leadership in mind that I look forward serving the ACCA, helping it to achieve its goals in the coming year and in maintaining our high standards of service and professionalism."

Mr. Ring and the ACCA board will serve until next year's annual conference, scheduled for March 17 - 20, 2014, in Nashville, TN.
