GREENSBORO, NC, March 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Reading Awareness Day was celebrated on March 8, 2013 at Jesse Wharton Elementary school in Greensboro, NC. Orthodontist Dr. Mark Reynolds and his staff joined the students to read several books and talk about the benefits of reading.

Many students and teachers added to the fun by coming to school dressed as their favorite book character. Among the characters represented were Harry Potter and the Cat in the Hat!

Reynolds Orthodontics team member Cathy Neal read a few books and hung out with Ms. Rothwell's 1st Grade class while Dr. Reynolds spent some time with Ms. Shropshire's 1st Grade class.

Two of the books that Cathy and Dr. Reynolds shared with the students were Oliver Who Would Not Sleep!; Where the Wild Things Are; The Duck Who Rode The Bike; Llama Llama Home With Momma; Pirates Don't Change Diapers; and Green Eggs and Ham in remembrance of Dr. Seuss' birthday.

Reynolds Orthodontics is actively involved in the Greensboro community. They have sponsored programs in their offices for local dental professionals to come in and receive flu shots. Reynolds Orthodontics is also an active participant in the Smile For A Lifetime Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization that provides orthodontic care to individuals who may not have the opportunity to acquire assistance.
