CHICAGO, IL, March 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) Dogs are leading their owners to their favorite canine event of the year—The Anti-Cruelty Society's Bark in the Park. On May 4, 2013 at 9 a.m., rain or shine, thousands of dogs and their owners are scheduled to hightail it to Montrose Harbor for a morning of fun and an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for The Anti-Cruelty Society's animals most in need in Chicago.
Thousands of humans and their dogs are expected to attend this 19th annual event creating a great day of camaraderie amongst animal lovers. Emcees, ABC7's Hosea Sanders and Roz Varon, will be on site kicking off the walk with dogs and the run without dogs, all while keeping everyone energized throughout the morning. Cat owners are welcome as well and given the opportunity to make a pin in honor of the feline friends that are not able to attend the dog-friendly event.
Activities include a dog obstacle course, Denise Zak pet psychic, pet massages, dog tattoos, nail clipping spa, souvenir photo booth, product samples from our sponsors, free snacks, contests, 50/50 cash raffle, face-painting and fun for the kids, and more.

Advance registration is $35 for adults, $15 for children 3-15, and dogs and children under 3 are free. Walkers/runners are encouraged to register and raise funds for some great prizes online.
