PHOENIX, AZ, October 27, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911) has teamed with KPMG and Mesa Riverview Mall, for its 9th annual adoption event, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mesa Riverview Mall located at Dobson Rd. and the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Mesa. The purpose of the event is to build awareness for animals in need and decrease the record number of homeless animals that have resulted from the current economic conditions.
At the event, which takes place in front of the Cinemark Theatres, more than 25 rescue groups will be on-site with animals for adoption. Almost Home Rescue will provide low cost micro-chipping and Petco will provide adoption goodie bags for all adopted animals. There is also a raffle with loads of prizes, and animal lovers can purchase holiday items from the PACC911 gift shop, with all proceeds from the store and raffle benefiting the Emergency Medical Fund (EMF), which provides financial aid to Valley nonprofit animal welfare groups needing assistance with medical costs.
