LOS ANGELES, CA, October 27, 2010 (Press-News.org) Valensi Rose, PLC Attorney Lynda Chung was elected to the St. Vincent Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors at its September meeting. Ms. Chung's multi-cultural background and business community involvement positioned her to be an ideal candidate for the Board.
St. Vincent Medical Center was established in 1856 by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul and was the first hospital built in the Los Angeles area. The center continues its long-standing legacy of community outreach with its newest Board member.

Ms. Chung is a litigator at Valensi Rose, PLC, where she specializes in business and commercial litigation, which includes contract, real estate, labor and employment, and trusts and estates disputes. With degrees in sociology and anthropology as well as law, Ms. Chung has a unique perspective on cross-cultural motivation and resolution issues.
Born in Pusan, South Korea, she is fluent in Korean. She speaks frequently to Korean business professionals and wrote a monthly column on legal matters in the real estate section of the Los Angeles Korea Times daily newspaper for many years. Recently Ms. Chung completed her tenure as Vice President of the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles for the 2009-2010 term, after having served as a Chamber board member since 2004.
