BKD to Present Spring 2013 Forensics Institute Webinar Series

SPRINGFIELD, MO, April 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) BKD, LLP is pleased to announce the 2013 spring semester of BKD Forensics Institute, a complimentary webinar series developed specifically for attorneys, paralegals and business executives interested in learning about forensic accounting, valuation and investigation-related issues.

The first course, "Predictive Coding: Understanding the Wows & Weaknesses," will cut through the hype surrounding predictive coding and help you make informed, practical decisions about its potential uses. The course will be presented by Bryan Callahan, managing consultant, and Lanny Morrow, supervising consultant.

"Valuation Strategies for 2013 & Beyond: Tax & Business Succession Planning After the Fiscal Cliff," will revisit the valuation challenges in buy-sell agreements and explain why you should regularly review your agreement. The course will be presented by BKD Partner Teal Dakan and Carol Lewis, Partner in BKD's Forensics & Valuation Services division.

The final course, "Whistle-Blowers & Fraud Hotlines: Reporting & Preventing Fraud," will delve into the world of the whistle-blower, and uncover their rights and the rights of those who have been accused of wrongdoing. The course will also discuss the benefits of having fraud hotlines and will be presented by Julia Swafford, managing consultant in BKD's Forensics & Valuation Services division.
