I'll Be Your Mirror 2013 invites the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to curate, reports LondonTown.com.

2013-04-10
LONDON, ENGLAND, April 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) May 2013 sees New York's mighty Yeah Yeah Yeahs return to the capital for their first London headline show in four years. As well as performing tracks from their latest album, Mosquito, the band will also curate the first day of the London 2013 I'll Be Your Mirror festival.

Sister-act to the famous London based ATP (All Tomorrow's Parties), a festival which takes place across rural holiday resorts, I'll Be Your Mirror is a city-based festival that invites established artists to curate music, film and art events across the world. With ATP named after The Velvet Underground's 1967 single, I'll Be Your Mirror is inspired by the single's b-side.

Indie trio the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are in charge of the Saturday and have personally selected the line-up for this London event; they have invited Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Atlanta rockers Black Lips, Polaris prize nominee Dirty Beaches, Stockholm's The Field and the excellent Anika to join them. The Sunday will be curated by American rock band Grizzly Bear, which will be their largest UK show to date. They will be joined by legendary Beach Boys collaborator Van Dyke Parks, cult indie rock group The Walkmen, post-rock pioneers Tortoise and Sweden's I Break Horses.

Host to a diverse range of events, including Wedding Shows, music concerts and even the Red Bull Soap Box race, Alexandra Palace - known as 'The People's Palace' - is among a number of major exhibition centres in London. With London's status as a hub of international business, the city is the ideal conference venue and there is a continuous programme of intriguing events to event.
