One Beat Partners with American Heart To Make Broward County Heart Safe During their Annual Fundraising Event on May 4th, 2013

2013-04-10
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, April 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) While One Beat CPR has been a long-time supporter of the American Heart Association of Broward County, they've recently taken their commitment and involvement to the cause to a whole new level. As the Signature Sponsor of not only Broward Pulse, American Heart's young professionals division, but also the Heart Ball, One Beat continues their campaign to make Broward County a heart-safe place to live, work, and play.

"We will continue to work tirelessly to make sure that our families, friends, and neighbors know the dangers of sudden cardiac arrest, and how to be prepared in the event of an emergency. The Heart Ball gives us the platform to connect with like-minded people that take this cause seriously. Together, we can make an impact in our community," states One Beat Founder and Heart Ball Cabinet Member, Lon Rosen.

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, a seated dinner, cocktail hour, silent and live auction, and presentation of their Survivor story. The Heart Ball is made possible through year-long giving toward the Open Your Heart Campaign, proceeds from the Broward Pulse campaign, and Heart Ball Sponsors.

Senior Development Director, Maria Hunt, states, "We are truly fortunate to have One Beat CPR as an advocate and sponsor of the American Heart Association. Their support and commitment is helping us create awareness about CPR training and education- making Broward County a healthier community."

The Heart Ball takes place at the Marriott Harbor Beach on May 4th, 2013. Tickets and sponsorships are available through http://www.heart.org/browardheartball.
