SAN ANTONIO, TX, April 11, 2013 (Press-News.org) Practice Management Institute (PMI) today announced that faculty member, Audrey Coaxum, CHI, CMC, CMIS, CMOM, has been selected as a featured presenter at the Florida Society of Rheumatology Annual Conference in Orlando in July.
Coaxum will address ways to manage more profitable and compliant offices with Rheumatology Office Managers during the conference. The two session titles are: Fighting Back against Carrier Post Payment Audits and Enhancing Practice Profitability through Patient Collections.
Coaxum has two decades of experience in the health care industry. She has overseen the development and implementation of policy and procedures relating to practice and risk management and compliance based on federal, state, NCQA, HIPAA and OSHA standards. She is a Certified Health Care Instructor, who has trained many health care personnel, including physicians, on medical documentation and compliance issues relating to the coding, billing and reimbursement for services.
