Maxilp Lip Plumper Named CEW Beauty Insider's Awards 2013 Finalist

Small, family-owned company up against beauty industry giants

2013-04-12
MIAMI LAKES, FL, April 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) On Friday, April 5, the professional organization Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) announced the Maxilip Lip Plumper as a finalist for the 2013 Beauty Insider's Choice Award in the lip treatment category. Maxilip, a brand of Vivant Pharmaceuticals, LLC, is competing against industry heavies Vaseline, Nivea, Aquaphor, Fresh, Inc. and Burt's Bees.

"This prestigious nomination is a great honor and speaks to the quality of our product," says CEO Kelly Fulton-Kendrick. "That Maxilip was voted in by CEW members is amazing when you consider the breadth of beauty and cosmetic products that were entered into the competition and the long-standing market-domination that the other nominees in our category enjoy."

The Maxilip Lip Plumper was sampled and given away to CEW members at the Beauty Insider's Choice Awards Product Demo, held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York on March 6. More than 2,300 insiders from the world of beauty attended the event that highlighted the industry's best and brightest innovations from the past year.

The 194 total finalists from the more than 650 product entries were chosen by votes cast online by CEW members. The next step is a final evaluation by the CEW Board of Governors, which will occur during the next few weeks. All winners will be announced at a special luncheon to be held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan on May 17.
