TradeMark Properties Welcomes Vijay Shah As Senior Vice President

Billie Redmond, CEO of TradeMark Properties (http://www.trademarkproperties.com/), has announced that Vijay Shah, CCIM, has joined the firm as senior vice president. In his new position, Shah will oversee a wide range of retail and investment services, including project management, construction and permanent loan financing, and negotiating potential venture opportunities. With more than 24 years of experience in the real estate market, he will guide TradeMark Properties' site evaluations, demographic and market studies, land acquisition, investment sales and disposition, and small shop and anchor tenant lease negotiations.

Shah received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining the TradeMark Properties team, he served as a principal for Unified Commercial Real Estate, a boutique firm in Raleigh, as well the director of leasing for Rivercrest Realty and the retail director for Advantis GVA. During his tenure at Rivercrest, Shah managed the retail portfolio growth from one million to 3.2 million-square-feet. Active in the commercial real estate community, Shah is a member of the Retail Brokers Network, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR). He resides in Chapel Hill with his wife and their two children.
