Total Power Control - Absolute control over all power features of your notebook or desktop computer.

12 February 2010 - Acritum Software has released Total Power Control - a Windows utility that simplifies any kind of daily work.

Total Power Control - TPC puts at your fingertips a well laid out, easy to use tool that will help you get your work done quickly and easily.

TPC significantly improves default Windows functionality by allowing you to switch to any existing power plan quickly, including high performance, balanced, power saver and all custom user plans. With one or two clicks you can directly access shutdown, restart, sleep, hibernate, logoff, lock workstation, switch user, run screensaver, turn screen off and more. TPC incorporates advanced commands which, for example, allow you to force a shutdown when your PC will not respond to the standard Windows shutdown button.

You can execute any power-related function or start any user application using timer. You can execute a specified action when CPU load reaches a specified low (idle) level of activity. And you can run any applications using keyboard hotkeys.

In addition to being a complete and straightforward power manager, TPC supports command line control for all power tasks. A built-in remote server lets you, for example, restart or shutdown your computer remotely. An always-on-top CPU load meter puts current, average and peak CPU load information on your screen. TPC can create JPG or BMP screenshots instantly or make timed sequences of screenshots using a customizable timer. A Battery Charge State meter will let you know how much longer your laptop will run before a recharge is needed.

TPC is designed for Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit) with limited support for Windows XP. Free fully-functional trial is available at http://acritum.com/tpc , lifetime license is only 9 Euro ($14 USD) to buy.
