MILPITAS, CA, April 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) Redfish Technology, Inc., a leading nationwide technology recruiting company, was recognized as one of the 2013 Best Places to Work in Idaho by the Idaho Business Review and POPULUS.
The Idaho Business Review, the state's preeminent business publication, in concert with POPULUS, a nationally recognized marketing research company headquartered in Boise, have identified the best places to work in Idaho and the best practices in employee attraction and retention.
"Redfish is honored to be chosen among the state's businesses as one of the best places to work," stated Anna Mathieu, Marketing Communications Manager. "This award recognizes Redfish Technology for our exceptional performance in key areas such as compensation and benefits, employee growth and development, and workplace environment - factors that attract and retain great employees."
A leading nationwide recruiting company focused in the high tech and cleantech sectors, Redfish has offices in the Silicon Valley and the Eastern Seaboard, and is headquartered in the Sun Valley Idaho area.
"We pack a big punch for a small company in terms of the work-life balance and professional opportunities afforded in a small community," reported Rob Reeves, President and CEO of Redfish Technology. "This award recognizes the excellent ratings given by the employees and testifies to the emphasis we have put on creating a great company culture."
Companies competed in three size categories and were measured by the employees in terms of Compensation and Benefits, Employee Growth and Development, Work-Life Balance, Workplace Environment, and Company Management. A majority of employees had to respond in order to qualify for the competition. Qualifying companies were then ranked on the key performance areas by the representative employee population, establishing an Index of Excellence.
Redfish Technology prides itself on the company culture that focuses on superior work-life balance, fun employee outings, a healthy lifestyle, and employee perks. The company takes an annual camping trip to (but of course!) Redfish Lake, there's an annual night out to see The Second City, and other fun and recreational activities in between.
Redfish employees have perks such as golf outings, ski days, fresh fruit and healthy snacks, 401k matching, hour and a half lunches, reimbursement for healthy activities (gym membership), and an office cruiser bike. The recruiters have also created their own community service initiative called 'One for One' that consists of volunteer hours and a monetary donation program benefitting local organizations.
There will be a special celebration and awards banquet at which the ranked order of the Top Ten will be announced on Thursday, April 18, 2013, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Linen Building in Boise. Contact the Idaho Business Review for ticket information at 208-336-3768 or log on at http://idahobusinessreview.com/events/bptw/
