TAMPA, FL, April 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay (NLCTB) is holding its third annual Leadership Conference entitled "Lead Yourself - Wow Others" on April 26, 2013. The conference will be held at the A La Carte Event Pavilion, located at 4050 Dana Shores Drive in Tampa, from 12 - 4 p.m. More than 400 nonprofit and for-profit executives, business professionals and board members are expected.
This unique half-day conference will include two inspirational presentations: "The Map with Two Roads" by Wall Street Journal bestselling author Jon Acuff, who is also part of the Dave Ramsey team, and "Red Carpet Experience" by President and CEO of Red-Carpet Learning Systems Donna Cutting. Attendees will also enjoy lunch and a networking reception, which provides a forum for valuable community connections.
"We are passionate about teaching Tampa Bay area nonprofit organizations and board members the right skills to run their organizations, as well as offering them opportunities to develop valuable relationships in the business community," said NLCTB CEO Grace Armstrong. "This leadership conference brings together both nonprofit and for-profit business professionals in a manner which allows them to learn and grow together."
In partnership with the Nonprofit Consultants Connection, a complimentary pre-conference session entitled "Working with a Consultant 101" will also be available to 50 participants. It will begin at 10 a.m. and may be added during the registration process.
