Digital topo maps for Newfoundland & Labrador now available for Garmin GPS units

TrakMaps' cartographers and IT specialists have converted various government and TrakMaps datum into a GPS format compatible with most Garmin handheld devices. TOPO Newfoundland & Labrador 1 sources include NL Department of Natural Resources, NL Department of Environment and Conservation, CanVec (Natural Resources Canada), Parks Canada and TrakMaps.

TOPO Newfoundland & Labrador 1 comes in two formats: A preprogrammed memory card which is inserted directly in the GPS or as a CD which is inserted into a PC running Windows or Mac and then transferred to the GPS. A downloadable format is also available exclusively from TrakMaps.com.
