Digital topo maps for Newfoundland & Labrador now available for Garmin GPS units

TrakMaps TOPO Newfoundland & Labrador 1 is easy to use and includes contour lines, points of elevation and other terrain features for mountains, hills, valleys, lakes, rivers, forest zones, swamps, etc. As well, buildings, roads, electric lines, dams, railroads, national parks and other landmarks are clearly indicated.

TrakMaps' cartographers and IT specialists have converted various government and TrakMaps datum into a GPS format compatible with most Garmin handheld devices. TOPO Newfoundland & Labrador 1 sources include NL Department of Natural Resources, NL Department of Environment and Conservation, CanVec (Natural Resources Canada), Parks Canada and TrakMaps.

TOPO Newfoundland & Labrador 1 comes in two formats: A preprogrammed memory card which is inserted directly in the GPS or as a CD which is inserted into a PC running Windows or Mac and then transferred to the GPS. A downloadable format is also available exclusively from TrakMaps.com.
