Daytona Beach, Fla. celebrates International Female Ride Day at Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona to promote female riding on Friday, May 3, 2013.

SANFORD, FL, April 17, 2013 (Press-News.org) Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona is honored to promote female riding along with ROAR Motorcycles for Women, by serving as prime gathering points for International Female Ride Day (IFRD) in Ormond Beach, Fla.

IFRD was initiated by MOTORESS , an online magazine dedicated to women motorcyclists, in 2007. It was intended to display the vast amount of female riders around the world and encourage other women to take part as well. The campaign continues to grow each year, not only in numbers, but across the world.

Riders are invited to meet either at Destination Daytona at 10 AM or ROAR Motorcycles at 11 AM, and kickstands will go up at 10:30 AM and 11:15 AM, respectively. Participants will then ride to JB's Fish Camp in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. to enjoy lunch together.
