ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA, April 17, 2013 (Press-News.org) Adelaide-based technology startup FitUsIn is taking the stage on Thursday at Town Hall as part of the ANZ Innovyz Start Demo Day.

FitUsIn, one of ten companies selected for the ANZ Innovyz START program will showcase their website and mobile app to potential investors and the broader Adelaide community.

The 13-week program is designed to accelerate the growth of startups with break-through ideas and has helped prepare the participants for investment.

FitUsIn CEO, Vanessa Picker said the FitUsIn website and mobile app allows people to quickly search for gyms by location, compare deals and book gym visits instantly.

¡°Many people have busy lifestyles that can make it hard to stick to a rigid gym membership and until now, it has been time consuming and expensive to access the gym on an ad-hoc basis,¡± Miss Picker said.

¡°FitUsIn gives you total flexibility over which gym you use and how much you pay¡± she said.

With more than 100 gyms signed up to the service and a growing customer base, FitUsIn has made significant progress in the last three months.

Dr Jana Matthews, Program Director of ANZ Innovyz START said FitUsIn has been amongst the standouts of the program.

¡°FitUsIn was a company we already knew was going to be a winner. It was selected as one of six [companies] worldwide to attend an all-expenses paid trip to New York to pitch to venture capitalists,¡± Dr Matthews said.

As a graduate of the Bachelor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Adelaide and the 2013 Young South Australian of the Year, this Adelaide entrepreneur has global potential.

FitUsIn is a booking website that connects casual gym goers and fitness centers.
