Brand New Photo Album App Shutterpair Makes Light Work of Collecting and Sharing Pictures

An app that instantly gathers photos and produces shared albums now available for iOS, Android and Web users

SINGAPORE, April 18, 2013

Still waiting for the pictures your friends took during your vacation or from that birthday party last month? Then download Shutterpair - a brand new app that offers a quick and easy way for friends and family to gather photos taken together via shared albums.

Users can start using Shutterpair by either creating an album or joining one. The unique aspect of Shutterpair albums is that they are collaborative - which means users don't need to set up several individual albums. Instead everyone in a group can view and add to a selected photo album directly from their iOS or Android mobile devices. No more going back home to upload photos, or reminding others to email pictures to each other!

Photos taken from digital cameras can also be easily added to Shutterpair albums through the easy to use web platform (www.shutterpair.com). Users can choose to keep their albums private to a select group or share albums through social media platforms.

"When people take photos in groups, there's bound to be iPhones, Android mobile phones and digital cameras in the mix. So, to truly solve the photo collection problem, we realized the need for a cross- platform application from day 1. That's why we launched Shutterpair to offer support for iOS, Android & digital cameras straight off the bat." - Ritesh Angural, Cofounder

Shutterpair is currently in beta and is available as a free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play globally. There are plans to support Windows & Blackberry devices in the near future.

Shutterpair is developed by recent graduates from the National University of Singapore(NUS). The co- founding team includes James Dam, Joshua Newman & Ritesh Angural. The latter two also being alumni from the prestigious Stanford-NUS Overseas Colleges Silicon Valley Program(www.overseas.nus.edu.sg).
