CHICAGO, IL, April 18, 2013

The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) will host its 5th Annual Soiree Fundraiser at Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, 230 N. Michigan Avenue, in Chicago, on Friday, April 26, 2013, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are $75 per person, and must be purchased before April 22. Cost includes an open bar, light buffet and dancing, with music provided by Custom DJ's. Cocktail/semi-formal attire preferred.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Illinois Bar Foundation/YLD Children's Assistance Fund which, in part, provides grant money to establish children's waiting rooms in courtrooms throughout Illinois, including children's books, toys and games. The Foundation also provides funding to organizations throughout Illinois that provide legal assistance to children, maintain children's waiting rooms in courthouses, work to reduce recidivism of juveniles, and/or work to reduce the incidents of domestic violence in families with children.

Space is limited. For tickets or more information, contact Janet Sosin at 312-726-8775, email jsosin@isba.org, or visit http://www.isba.org/sections/yld/soiree.com.

The mission of the Illinois Bar Foundation is to ensure meaningful access to the justice system, especially for those with limited means, and to assist lawyers who can no longer support themselves due to incapacity. This year, the Foundation will distribute more than $400,000 in grants to legal aid organizations across the state of Illinois, and in Lawyers Care Fund support to attorneys and their families in need.
