Peroni Nastro Azzuro Launches 2nd Annual Search for Emerging Designers

Emerging Designer Series seeks South Florida designers who capture best of Italian style

This is an unequaled opportunity to participate in a cutting edge, high-profile runway show which is attended by press, buyers, celebrities and fashion industry professionals, all at NO COST to the designer.

Open to fashion, swimwear, and accessory designers who are 21 and older, US citizens and based in South Florida, the stylish competition helps identify and support up-and-coming local talent. To apply, designers submit one design that best illustrates their view of Italian style; the competition begins on March 21 and submission deadline is by May 1, 2013. A panel of industry experts from Fashion Group International will select 10 finalists who will have the opportunity to showcase three looks in a group fashion show during the upcoming Swim Week in July 2013. One of those lucky designers will be announced as the winner of Peroni's 2nd Annual Emerging Designer Series and will be awarded a trip to New York Fashion Week as well as a complete runway production showcasing their full line at Swim Week 2014 in Miami.

Last year's winner Nathalie Kriado will be presenting her eponymous collection, Kriado as the finale of Italian Style Night during the upcoming Swim Week at FUNKSHION in July 2013.
