Fountains Center in West Boca Raton Announces New Tenants, New Direction

2013-04-20
BOCA RATON, FL, April 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) Major changes are underway at Fountains Center, a mixed use restaurant/retail/office plaza located on Camino Real and Powerline Road in west Boca Raton. An aggressive renovation and upgrade of the center's structures and landscape began less than a year ago, and is scheduled to be completed within the next 60 days.

In addition to upgrading the center piazza area with waterfalls and fountains that line the walking paths throughout the center, leasing activity has skyrocketed from 42% occupancy in February 2012 to nearly 86% occupancy as of this month.

"We have made a significant investment in improving this entire property," says Zvi Schwarzman, managing partner of Boca Medical Plaza, LLC, the ownership group that acquired the property in February 2012. "We really want to open our doors and be a true community center, offering our neighbors and visitors an array of services, dining and retail options and community-focused events that appeal to a wide variety of audiences."

Mike Zikri, who manages the retail development at the property, announced several new openings scheduled within the next 60 days -- Fountains Xpress, a quick-serve deli offering salads, wraps, sandwiches and baked goods; The Butcher Block Grill, a full-service sit-down restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine; and a full-service salon and spa featuring hair, nail and skin care services. "We also just opened The Venue," said Zikri, "a spectacular banquet facility available for private events and parties. Fountains Center truly is evolving into a destination center."

Current tenants include Mozart Cafe, Asia Sushi Wok Grill, GetMed Urgent Care, 3D Learner Inc., Boca Integrated Health, Apollo Transportation, Bernie's Cleaners and Marc Rosen, DCPA.

Fountains Center also is in the midst of planning a variety of community focused events, including Fiats at the Fountains, taking place May 9-12; a Thursday evening greenmarket, Friday Night Happy Hours; Saturday movie nights, and more.

Fountains Center is situated on 15 acres and consists of 184,575 square feet of leasable space, divided amongst seven retail and office buildings.

Fountains Center is located at 7600 West Camino Real, just west of where Powerline Road meets West Camino Real in Boca Raton. For information, visit fountainscenter.com or call 561.488.0877.
