SAN DIEGO, CA, October 29, 2010
While the business is performing well, there are plans in the pipeline, to further develop and refine the service offered by Armcoil Afrika, as Managing Director Peter Flint explains."We will continue to take on smaller repairs and maintenance jobs or supply of motors and transformers, but we are now seeking to promote our services as a package.
"Our goal is to provide a broader service, where we don't just supply or repair the motor, but take full responsibility for it, from supply onwards, including ongoing maintenance. We can also arrange any necessary purchase financing, on the client's behalf.
"We believe that focusing more on the delivery of a full package will ensure we continue to offer a service that no one else can provide. At the moment this provides around 25 percent of our business, but we aim to grow this activity to 60-70 percent."
Armcoil Afrika was established in 2002 and was originally considered to be a electrical repair business.
"We changed its operations to the maintenance and repair of medium voltage motors and transformers, which has been a very worthwhile development for the company."
Mr. Flint believes that ArmCoil Afrika's services are in demand, because it focuses on the full range of its customers' requirements, as he explains: "One of our main goals has always been to position ourselves differently from other companies in the industry and we have done this by offering a more extensive service.
