NORCROSS, GA, April 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Eyeglass World understands how difficult it can be to live life without being able to afford the prescription glasses that will help you to see. They encourage the public to consider donating their used glasses frames to charities that are able to repurpose them and give them to someone who is not able to get them on his or her own.

If it is time for your annual visit to the optometrist, or you just want to upgrade to some new discount designer eyeglasses, it is easy to help out others. Several charities collect used eyewear and then distribute them to people who need them. Even if your old glasses are missing a nose pad or have a broken earpiece, you might be surprised at how they can still be extremely useful to these charities and those taken care of by them.
