On her own as well as with Kent, Donna has produced award-winning instructional materials, including videos and books, and she renovated her ancestral homestead, Sewall House, into a yoga retreat center. Kent applies his background in music and culinary skills to their teaching practices, bringing a complete mind-body healing experience to their students.
On October 22nd-29th of 2011, Donna and Kent will be leading a yoga retreat at Locanda Del Gallo in Italy's Region of Umbria. In between yoga sessions you can enjoy exploring the natural paradise of Umbria, explore the museums and shops in nearby villages, and enjoy fine local vegetarian cuisine. Umbria is a paradise for nature lovers. Your hosts will be delighted to point out the many quiet paths and by-ways waiting to be explored in the valley surrounding the Locanda del Gallo. For those wishing to explore further there is a selection of mountain bikes at your disposal. Possible excursions include the medieval towns of Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Todi and Deruta, where you will learn about ancient life, experience the places touched by Saint Francis, see a ceramic and glass making demonstration.
