SARASOTA, FL, April 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) Kathy Marlowe & Associates Realty was the corporate sponsor of Kids' Day at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Women's $50,000 Pro Circuit Tournament. The week-long tournament, hosted recently by The Oaks Club in Sarasota, featured players from around the world.
Thirty local boys and girls ranging in age from 6 to 17 participated in the Kids' Day clinic, which included hitting with a professional.
"This was the perfect opportunity to give back to the community, focusing on kids and promoting exercise at the same time," said Kathy Marlowe, Broker-Owner of the Sarasota real estate firm. "Tennis is a sport they can play for the rest of their lives."
The USTA is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the recognized leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States. It is the largest tennis organization in the world, with 17 geographical sections, more than 750,000 individual members, 7,000 organizational members and thousands of volunteers.
