Her presentation, "Fraud & Embezzlement: Lessons from the Trenches," will take place on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 9:50 - 11:05 a.m. and 1:15 - 2:30 p.m.
Morelock leads BKD's forensic accounting and investigations team, providing fraud investigation and prevention, complex litigation support and forensic accounting services for a variety of business clients. She has been qualified as an expert witness in cases involving criminal and civil fraud, securities fraud, business valuation, acquisition disputes, commercial business damages, funding constitutionality, bankruptcy, fidelity and bonding claim disputes and other financial matters in both federal courts and numerous state level courts around the country.
Angela is a certified fraud examiner (CFE), certified in financial forensics (CFF), and Certified Forensic Accountant (Cr.FA ) as well as a CPA. Angela has an extensive background in business valuation, and in 1998, earned the AICPA's Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation.

Roxbury Community College Informs GED Participants About Upcoming Changes

Roxbury Community College is informing current GED test takers that they may want to take or finish the exam before the new GED guidelines go into effect. In January 2014, the new GED assessment will be launched in all U.S. jurisdictions. GED candidates, who currently have passed only portions of the test and don't complete the remaining tests by next January, will lose their scores and have to re-start from the beginning. The new test will be more challenging and costly, increasing from $65 to $120.
