HAVEN, KS, May 01, 2013 (Press-News.org) American Hero T Shirt is one of the few retailers on the Internet, selling US patriotic apparel such as flag shirts. The company has introduced a series of flag shirts called 'Warriors'. The new flag shirts commemorate the demise of 30 American soldiers, which took place when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were traveling in, crashed killing all on board.
The deceased armed forces personnel included 25 Special Operations members, 5 air crew members, and 1 military working dog. The death of these soldiers was a big loss to the Americans, especially to those involved in the war against terror in Afghanistan, since it started in 2001.
It was a big blow to the US armed forces and the tragedy will remain etched in their memory forever. The flag shirts are the latest in a series of apparels launched to commemorate the sacrifice of the armed forces. Flag shirts are a great way to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by American soldiers, and honor their contribution.
A spokesperson at American Hero T Shirt said that the flag shirts serve a dual function. On one hand, they will inspire Americans to be patriotic and on the other hand, they will serve as a remembrance of the sacrifices that US armed forces are making everyday for their country. The flag shirts are retailed for $24.95. The spokesperson also said that $5 from the sale of all flag shirts will go to military charities, to help American soldiers.
The flag shirts are emblazoned with the word Warriors prominently. There are two guns in crossed position and below this, the acronym R.I.P can be seen. The words, 'You will never be forgotten' are also etched on the flag shirts. The date of the tragedy and the word Afghanistan are also printed in bold white letters.
