CHESTERTOWN, MD, May 03, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Chester River Association is excited to announce the launch of their new website. The new site focuses on helping members learn about the Chester River and discover ways to protect this vital resource. The re-design features email sign-ups for membership and newsletters, interactive maps with information on the health of the river, and an events calendar for CRA activities.

"We are thrilled to launch our new website," said Heather Forsyth, Executive Director at the Chester River Association. "The new design makes it easy for anyone to get involved and help protect the Chester River."
The new website features user-friendly email sign-up,streamlining the process of getting involved. Anyone interested in becoming a member or volunteering can quickly and easily sign up for the newsletter and event updates.
The site also offers interactive maps of the Chester River which provide information on the health of the river.
A new event calendar will connect visitors to the most up-to-date events. Everything will be in one place so the community can learn about upcoming activities.
The new website also provides updated information on CRA's efforts to protect and restore the river. Visitors can discover ways to connect to the river, sources of pollution, and actions they can take to improve the health of the river.
"It's a new beginning for us," said Forsyth, "because it gives everyone who cares about the Chester River a way to stay connected and up-to-date online."
The website re-design is the first step in a larger drive to energize the CRA community around protecting the Chester River. There will be events throughout 2013 aimed at recruiting new members and expanding the role of CRA in the community.
