NASHVILLE, TN, May 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) Chem-Dry, the world's largest carpet and upholstery cleaning service, announced the addition of Bill May as its new Director of National Accounts for Chem-Dry Corporate Services. Chem-Dry is already known as the dominant brand within residential carpet cleaning. But, with more than 100,000 commercial cleanings a year worldwide, Chem-Dry is also the global leader in commercial carpet and upholstery cleaning. May's mission is to build on the company's long-standing success in the commercial arena by adding major new U.S. national and regional accounts.
"I see tremendous growth potential on the commercial side with Chem-Dry," said May. "Our national footprint of 2,000 locations across the country along with our green-certified solutions, healthier and deeper cleaning process and faster dry times are solid assets that set Chem-Dry apart and that commercial clients value today. With our network of experienced franchisees, we're in the best position to provide national and regional businesses with consistent, high quality service to maintain a clean and healthy environment for their employees and customers."
May brings more than 25 years of marketing, sales and management experience to his new position from within the reconstruction, restoration, environmental services and consumer products industries. Most recently, he served as Director of Business Development for PuroClean where he launched the restoration company's commercial program, brought on board its first major national/regional accounts and grew it into a multi-million business. May also has experience at other services companies including SERVPRO and FlagshipPDG Reconstruction where he expanded the companies' commercial client bases, developed strong customer relationships with national and regional companies and grew their commercial program revenues.
May's experience is already paying dividends for Chem-Dry. Building on its strong base of over 8,000 annual cleanings across 75 U.S. clients, he has been involved in several customer meetings and expects to announce expanded relationships with current customers and new relationships shortly. Chem-Dry currently provides local, regional or national coverage to a prestigious list of clients that includes many of the nation's top retail chains, senior living complexes, embassies, cell phone centers, drug stores, restaurants, hotels, office buildings, hospitals and other dental and medical offices. Leveraging Chem-Dry's national coverage and brand recognition, quick dry times and deep-cleaning results, May foresees a bright future and solid growth on the commercial side.
"Bill brings great experience and a strong track record of success in growing national commercial account programs in the services industry" said Dan Tarantin, CEO of Chem-Dry. "We see huge potential for growth within corporate accounts and we are confident that Bill will help lead Chem-Dry to becoming an even more dominant force in the commercial sector. This is another important part of our plan to make Chem-Dry a household name and the preferred choice for both consumers and businesses in the U.S. and around the world."
