SOUTHBURY, CT, May 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) Franchise Source Brands International (FSBI) announced today that two members of the brand's executive team received their Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation after completing a program offered by the International Franchise Association's (IFA) Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE) that enhances franchising professionals' understanding of both the industry's fundamental and complex aspects.
Jason Miller, Brand Manager of FSBI's ZorSource division and Franchise Liaison for FSBI's The Entrepreneur's Source brand, and Linda Gottlieb, Performance Enhancement Leader of FSBI, completed a rigorous course of study in franchise management to earn the CFE designation, which includes attending institute-sponsored educational seminars and workshops. The IFA recognized the accomplishments of the two franchise executives during its recent annual conference in Las Vegas.
"The CFE program provides franchise executives with the opportunity to learn how to make decisions to assure their franchisees success and run their companies more efficiently and profitably," said Terry Powell, CEO and founder of FSBI. "As the sole sponsor of the ICFE, it's imperative that our executive team takes part in the program to achieve this elite franchise certification. We're proud of Jason and Linda's accomplishment and commitment to enhancing our franchise brands."
Together, the two franchise executives bring more than 15 years of franchising experience to FSBI. Miller joined the company in 2005 and has more than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing. Gottlieb joined the company in 2006 and has more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles at fortune 500 companies.
More than 500 IFA-member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program. These executives provide specialized knowledge, industry recognition, peer-level networking and professional standing.
