LateRooms.com - See Femme Nue at Milan's New Arts Space

A new art venue is opening in Milan and it will display the Pablo Picasso painting Femme Nue.

2010-10-30
MILAN, ITALY, October 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) Travellers can check out the Pablo Picasso masterpiece Femme Nue by heading to Milan's new art venue Museo del Novecento.

The arts space is due to be inaugurated in November 2010 and the Picasso painting is one of the most famous pieces that people will be able to see there.

It was painted in 1907 and is described as a "complex" piece of work by the venue.

Guests at the luxury hotels Milan has to offer will be happy to hear that the museum will be free to enter for the first three months.

According to the Italian State Tourist Board, visitors will be able to check out the new arts space from December 5th, with the complex itself said to be something to admire, as well as the artwork it contains.

"The large spiral ramp inside the building will be the museum's most important architectural feature, acting as [a] functional yet stylish element connecting the different levels of the tower from the basement right up to the beautiful terrace facing the Duomo," the organisation stated.

In addition to Femme Nue, there will also be pieces by De Chirico, Fontana, Klee and Braque among others.

Museo del Novecento can be found in the Piazza Duomo. Visitors should get off the tram or subway at the Duomo if they are travelling by public transport.
