"Your Soul's Purpose and Transformation: Part 1" on May 7 "Why Shamanism Now?" Radio Show

On her radio show "Why Shamanism Now?", host Christina Pratt talks about how difficult it is to find one's true purpose, despite the promises of our culture and society, and how we can most effectively find it within ourselves.

2013-05-07
JERSEY CITY, NJ, May 07, 2013 (Press-News.org) Streaming live on the Co-Creator Radio Network on Tuesday, May 7, at 11am Pacific/2pm Eastern, on "Why Shamanism Now? A Practical Path to Authenticity," shaman and founder of the Last Mask Center for Shamanic Healing Christina Pratt tells listeners that when we are not aware of our soul's true purpose or simply not aligned in our actions, contemporary life can fill quickly with dis-eases of the soul. People, high and low functioning alike, feel a sense of alienation and betrayal that runs deep while the source of those feelings remains a mystery. Many are so depressed or fatigued that they don't have the energy to care about what is authentic or what aligns with their heart. Many others find that, though they are doing all the right things, that passionate sense of meaning and purpose just isn't happening. "Contemporary life is filled with so much promise of happiness and fulfillment, but to access what life promises, we all need skills, healing, and support in our transformation," explains Pratt, who notes that many are betrayed again and again by the failure in our culture to offer valid and effective paths back to our soul and its purpose for being here.

In this episode of "Why Shamanism Now?" titled "Your Soul's Purpose and Transformation: Part 1", members from the Last Mask Center Community interview Pratt about finding the most direct path to living your soul's true purpose.

Christina Pratt is a contemporary shaman specializing in mending the soul and transforming the parts of life that feel impossible. A teacher of exceptional clarity, humor, and inspiration, Pratt brings the power of shamanism into the practical grasp of anyone willing to take responsibility for improving the quality of their life. Her book An Encyclopedia of Shamanism clearly discusses the basic concepts of shamanism, methods, and traditions of over 50 different shamanic peoples. Pratt is the founder of the Last Mask Center for Shamanic Healing, creator of the original Foundations of Shamanism and Shamanic Healing course at the University of Minnesota, and a frequent and honored speaker for the American Holistic Medical Association.
