Rock Plaza at Crystal Falls Announces Ribbon Cutting, Open House - June 1
The Greater Leander Chamber and local business owners Dr. Shane and Tasha Wilkinson welcome the public to a family fun open house celebrating the completion of Leander's newest commercial complex, Rock Plaza at Crystal Falls.

Have you seen the new sign for Rock Plaza at Crystal Falls? Rock Plaza is the newest commercial development along Leander's prestigious Crystal Falls Parkway between Bagdad Road and US Highway 183. Rock Plaza is the vision of entrepreneurs Dr. Shane and Tasha Wilkinson, owners of Rock Chiropractic Leander (www.rockchiropracticleander.com). The complex consists of two commercial buildings with three business occupants: Rock Chiropractic Leander, Z's Family Hair Salon and Sean Whitehead State Farm Agency. The public is invited to Rock Plaza's official ribbon cutting and first open house on Saturday, June 1 from 10-2 pm. The open house will include family fun activities, free food and drinks, giveaways and spotlight several local businesses.The Wilkinson' established Rock Chiropractic Leander in 2006, leasing a space on US Highway 183. They purchased the Shamrock and Crystal Falls Parkway corner property in 2008, converting the existing house into office space for their clinic. Access also was changed to Crystal Falls Parkway in lieu of the side street. "From the beginning, Tasha and I had the vision of turning this into a commercial complex with multiple tenants" says Dr. Shane.
The commercial vision began taking shape in 2011 when the Wilkinson's converted 200 square feet of their office into a separate retail space. Z's Hair Salon immediately leased the space, relocating from Bagdad Road. In 2012, the Wilkinson's acquired the neighboring property on Shamrock, adding a second building and room for more tenants. Sean Whitehead State Farm Agency leased the entire building, relocating his agency from the retail space across the street by Walgreen's. Completing the central parking lot to bridge the buildings together brings the Wilkinson's vision to life, Rock Plaza at Crystal Falls.
Rock Plaza at Crystal Falls is located at 808 Crystal Falls Parkway. The open house is scheduled from 10-2 pm on June 1. In addition to family fun activities, the Great Leander Chamber of Commerce (www.leandercc.org) will conduct an official ribbon cutting and the Wilkinson's will introduce Dr. Tara Tuttle, the newest addition to Rock Chiropractic Leander.
