BOCA RATON, FL, May 21, 2013 (Press-News.org) The sky has fallen at One Thousand Ocean...in a good way, with the developer's announcement of the recent sale of "The Sky" penthouse. This is One Thousand Ocean's third, designer-ready, customizable penthouse closing since March, and its fourth sale of new inventory in the last 75 days, for a total of approximately $27,000,000.
Selling for $7,000,000, or $1,513 per sellable square foot, "The Sky" has 4,628 sellable square feet, plus two terraces for an additional 2,343 square feet. Southeastern northeastern and western views are featured, along with a private elevator lobby, ceilings up to 14 feet, a private poolside cabana, and a private three-car garage.
Only one designer-ready penthouse remains out of the three new residences that are now available for purchase at the iconic condominium building, which is located next door to the Boca Raton Resort's Boca Beach Club, on the tip of a private peninsula at the Boca Raton Inlet. The two other units are move-in ready residences with optional furniture packages.
One Thousand Ocean's inhouse Director of Sales, Maria Scarola of LXR Realty, LLC, worked directly with the latest penthouse buyer. "He lives in the neighborhood, in another oceanfront penthouse in Boca Raton. Like most of our sales at One Thousand Ocean, this buyer closed for cash within several weeks of signing a contract," she said.
Scarola pointed out that the development team will be assisting with the build out of "The Sky" in order to hopefully expedite the process and help the new owner in creating his dream home.
The first of five penthouses within the modern, nautilus-shaped building sold for $1,505 per sellable square foot in 2011, making it the highest-priced new condominium to sell in Palm Beach County that year.
"Prices in South Florida have favorably increased since that time," noted Jamie Telchin, president of development with LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels. "In fact, one of the three penthouses we sold this March captured $1,540 per sellable square foot, the highest per-square-foot price to date in the building."
Telchin added, "The clock is ticking for people interested in enjoying the carefree resort lifestyle offered at One Thousand Ocean. We are confident the momentum will continue and we expect to sell out this year."
Residents who elect private membership at the Boca Raton Resort & Club may access the world-class amenities and services at the award-winning resort destination, including its Beach Club.
Prices for residences at One Thousand Ocean are currently from approximately $3,000,000 to $12,950,000. For further information, visit http://www.onethousandocean.com or call (561) 869-5000 to arrange a private showing.
