More than 1,500 students, professionals and small business owners are expected to attend UNiCOMM 2013 (www.unicommsummit.com), scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Baltimore Convention Center. The theme, Discovering and Branding the Authentic Me, features a day of dynamic speakers covering personal branding in entrepreneurship, career development and social media. Attendees will learn innovative, forward-thinking occupational or business strategies that take a personal brand to the next level, understand how to optimize social media as part of a personal branding strategy, and discover the most recent trends for workforce and business.

In addition to nine (9) breakout sessions, the conference will also feature a keynote address by Dan Schawbel, national author and personal branding expert. Schawbel is the Managing Partner of Millennial Branding, a Gen Y research and consulting firm. He is the author of the #1 international bestselling book, Me 2.0: 4 Steps to Building Your Future, now in 13 languages. His second book, Promote Yourself: The New Rules For Career Success, will be released in September 2013 by St. Martin's Press.
