LUBBOCK, TX, May 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) McCleskey, Harriger, Brazill & Graf LLP, one of the oldest and largest law firms in Lubbock, Texas, is celebrating its 85th anniversary this month.
The firm commemorated its notable anniversary during a celebration with clients and friends at the Llano Estacado Winery on May 16, 2013. The event also honored name partner Don Graf, who marked his 50th anniversary with the firm in 2012.
"From the little law office that began in Tahoka, Texas, in 1928, to the full-service firm that thrives today in Lubbock, we are proud to have been a part of the growth and history of West Texas," says The McCleskey Law Firm Managing Partner Jerry M. Kolander Jr. "We look forward to continued growth of the firm and the region."
Today, The McCleskey Law Firm handles commercial transactions and civil litigation for companies in the agricultural, banking, business, energy, health care, insurance, manufacturing and real estate industries. The firm's attorneys have both the legal expertise and industry know-how to provide clients with exceptional counsel in a wide array of legal cases. They also provide decades of experience representing individuals in personal injury, family law, estate planning and other important matters.
The attorneys and staff at The McCleskey Law Firm do more than serve the firm's clients. They also are actively involved in the Lubbock community and have a rich history of leadership in local organizations and the legal profession. The firm's attorneys and staff work with many of the community's oldest and most well-regarded civic groups, including the Boy Scouts of America, Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, Lubbock Area United Way, and The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts, among others.
"We've had some changes over the last 85 years, but the one constant is our commitment to helping make West Texas a great place to do business and raise a family," says Mr. Kolander. "And I fully expect The McCleskey Law Firm will continue to do that for many decades to come."
