NEW YORK, NY, May 31, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Institute for Defense and Government Advancement has announced the agenda for the online event, Shared Services for Government. The event will run on July 23rd and 24th and feature eight separate speaking sessions from notable members of the Government.
The Federal IT Shared Services Strategy was released last year which details the steps agencies must take to begin chipping away at more than $46 billion in duplicate IT investments. Shared Services for Government will provide an understanding of the Federal IT Shared Services strategy as well areas to focus on to reduce excess spending. The challenges, opportunities, and strategies of maximizing return on investment through utilizing of shared services will be explored
Shared Services for Government will host speakers from distinguished government organizations including NASA, Department of Education, Department of Agriculture and more. The speakers and agenda have been announced and posted online on the Shared Services for Government website.
