SAN DIEGO, CA, November 03, 2010 (Press-News.org) Taryn Lomas and Lauren Palazzo were announced as finalists on the October 12 release in the 7th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the international competition recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners, and the organizations they run. Ms. Lomas and Ms. Palazzo received average scores of at least 7.0 out of a possible 10 in the preliminary judging, which took place over five weeks in September and October. This year's finalists represent the top 30% of all entries submitted.

Ms. Lomas, nominated in the Best Executive - Service Businesses - up to 100 Employees - Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations category is responsible for setting sales strategies and the company's focus. She is constantly monitoring the marketplace watching for trends and opportunities for new business. Through leveraging her contacts in the industry and her knowledge of the marketplace Ms. Lomas drives the company's focus and revenue stream.

Ms. Palazzo, nominated for Employee of the Year - Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations & Business Services holds a vast array of talents that have allowed her to work in every department of Underground Elephant.
