LITTLE FALLS, MN, June 13, 2013 (Press-News.org) MINNESOTA —The Blandin Community Broadband Program kicks of a series of webinars to increase awareness of the role sustainable broadband can play in Minnesota's future.
The first in the series of monthly webinars begins Thursday, June 13th from 3-4 p.m. Central Standard Time with Aaron Brossoit from Golden Shovel Agency, a leader in combining web technologies and design expertise to present communities in their best light. Golden Shovel utilizes gateway technologies to create customized websites and social media content geared toward individualized economic goals.
Brossoit will be on hand to share how community portals, websites dedicated to a specific geographic area, can serve multiple audiences who play vital roles in the economic well-being of rural towns, including: existing community members and businesses, prospective new residents and business, and tourists.
Brossoit looks forward to partnering with the Blandin Foundation to share Golden Shovel Agency's over 10 years of experience using economic development technologies to successfully promote rural communities.
