The Rainmaker Group Earns Distinction as One of the Top 40 Fastest Growing Companies in Georgia

The Rainmaker Group is among this year's distinguished group of companies to earn a spot on the Georgia Fast 40 list. This is the fifth year for the Georgia Fast 40 competition, which honors companies for achieving sustained growth.

2013-06-14
CINCINNATI, OH, June 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Atlanta released its list of the Georgia Fast 40 for 2013, and The Rainmaker Group is among this year's distinguished group of companies contributing to the overall health and recovery of Georgia's economy as a whole.

This is the fifth year for the Georgia Fast 40 award competition, which honors companies for achieving sustained growth. Growth is measured objectively based on revenue and employment, whether achieved organically or through acquisition. Approximately 100 companies with headquarters in Georgia submitted applications, and the Top 40 companies are categorized into two groups, ranging in annual revenue from $15 to $60 million (Lower-Middle Market) and from $60 to $500 million (Upper Middle-Market). Collectively, this year's finalists increased revenue from $1.4 to $3.3 billion and added 12,000 new jobs, topping last year's impressive results.

"This is a significant honor for our company and our employees, made possible, in large part, because of the tremendous support, confidence and loyalty we receive each and every day from our world-class customers across the Multifamily Housing and Gaming & Hospitality industries," says Bruce Barfield, CEO of Rainmaker.

Tammy Farley, president of Rainmaker, who, in late March 2013, was named one of five Great Women of Gaming (GWOG) Proven Leaders for 2012 by Casino Enterprise Management magazine, echoed Barfield's sentiments and added, "Besides the trust and support from our customers, the level of commitment and talent from our Rainmaker team is truly amazing and Bruce and I are sincerely appreciative and thankful to have such a dedicated group of professionals by our side."

Only two weeks prior to the GWOG announcement, the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) named Rainmaker to its prestigious list of Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia from more 90 companies. Rainmaker won the TAG award for its automated pricing science software for slot machines designed to generate greater financial yield from existing casino assets, an innovation the company has branded, ReelREV .

Later this summer, Rainmaker will learn whether it has made the Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies in America for a third consecutive year. Inc.'s annual list represents the most comprehensive look at a critical segment of the American economy: independent entrepreneurs.

The ACG Atlanta will hold its 2013 reception and awards dinner and gala at the Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead on June 13 to honor this year's Georgia Fast 40 companies.
