MONROVIA, CA, June 18, 2013 (Press-News.org) Radcal Corporation announces launch of their family of radiation survey meters. Making up this family are three versions: the RSM, RSM1 and RSM*.
Radcal is happy to announce the official launch of our new Family of Radcal Survey Meters. The RSM is a pressurized ion chamber meter which can be used for a variety of medical and health physics applications. They are ideal for measuring exposure rates from leakage and scatter radiation around diagnostic and therapeutic x-ray rooms. The impressive 256K color display provides an optimized presentation of the data. All logged data can be written in csv format to a standard USB thumb drive for convenient retrieval by a PC spreadsheet or database program. Alarms are manifested using color changes on the display and audio output. While the model RSM is the most popular for surveys, the RSM1 is a low pressure chamber in a non-Hazmat version. The RSM* provides ICRU-based ambient equivalent dose measurements.
"Radcal is excited to offer another instrument for leakage and scatter measurements. These products truly compliment the Gold Standard diagnostic meter product line providing a one-stop shopping experience for the buyer" states Pat Pyers, VP Sales, Marketing & Business Development.
