PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) A new article in The Huffington Post comments on a bride's desire for a stunning hairstyle above all other wedding details, a study promoted by Darla Lippert, a hair stylist who also provides versatile spa services. The article declares the results of a survey conducted by the Wakefield Research on behalf of Joico, a national hair brand. The report reveals "73 percent of American women agreed that the biggest 'hair moment' of a woman's life is her wedding. In fact, one out of three women said they'd rather trip while walking down the aisle than have a wedding day hair 'fail'."
Darla Lippert eagerly responds to this statement. "When my team and I extend wedding services to brides, we create romantic hairstyles that perfectly execute a bride's vision and essence," she said. "Perfecting the hairstyle is crucial, and unfortunately, I've seen some stylists learn this the hard way. For some brides, if her hairstyle doesn't align with what she wants or it doesn't accentuate her elegant accessories or dress, you can see it all over her face."
The article also expresses that even though many women are willing to splurge for the perfect hair style, they often don't plan their vision for the hairstyle until roughly eight days before the wedding. "Several brides have a general idea of what they want, but sometimes hairstyles get lost in the details and chaos of wedding planning," Darla Lippert comments. "That's why it's so important to hire a hairstylist for your wedding to ensure a beautiful finish. You don't want to stress out trying to make your hair look a certain way. The hairstylists at Get to the Root constantly meet with brides well in advance to get the style and vision on their radar. Otherwise, brides rush - and you can tell."
The report continues to emphasize some of the hottest trends and easy options for the big day, no matter the length or hair type. The article includes more than 10 hair inspirations that Darla Lippert advocates. "The side-swept look is really in right now," she said. "It's very classic and elegant."
Other hairstyles are mentioned; including braids and flowers to coincide with a rustic or vintage wedding, bold headbands to accompany loose curls and glamorous hair combs to "add just the right amount of fair for a classic wedding." Darla Lippert remarks on what all of these trends have in common, sharing her wisdom with many of her brides. "There are so many ways to use updo hairstyles, buns, twists and curls to add to the theme and concept of your wedding. You can curl your hair a certain way to engage with the retro-birdcage-veil look or you can keep it simple with loose waves for a beach wedding," said Darla Lippert.
