SURREY, ENGLAND, November 04, 2010 (Press-News.org) Announcing its new purchase of the domain name www.discountvouchers.com, the money saving website DiscountVouchers.co.uk, has paid Internet guru Barry Garner for the similarly named website.

Being one of the most used voucher code websites in the UK, DiscountVouchers.co.uk's acquisition of Garner's DiscountVouchers.com was a shroud move to protect the company's name and position in the market.

"Since May 2009, when we launched the website, we have had a great response and now have over 3 million members who utilise our vouchers and codes to save money. By purchasing the DiscountVouchers.com name, we have essentially reduced any confusion over the two domain names," said DiscountVouchers.co.uk's spokesperson Simon Terry.

With 19,000 Facebook followers, the website uses social media effectively, and by creating around GBP3million every month for the 500 retailers which are listed on the site, the website will continue to grow and save the UK public money. There are more than 2,000 different deals and codes to help save money also.

The DiscountVouchers.co.uk site has major high street names with money off savings available including, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Boden, First Choice, Travelodge and Lastminute.com.

Visitors to the site can sign up and register their interest to claim the money saving deals at www.discountvouchers.co.uk.
