Gardere's Debbie Green Named to Inaugural Lawyers of Color Hot List

DALLAS, TX, June 21, 2013 (Press-News.org) Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP is pleased to announce that Trial Attorney Debbie E. Green was recently selected by Lawyers of Color Inc. for inclusion in their inaugural Lawyers of Color Hot List, which recognizes early- to mid-career minority attorneys who stand out in the legal profession.

Ms. Green, an associate in the Firm's Dallas office, focuses her litigation practice on commercial disputes, bankruptcy disputes and antitrust matters. She represents a variety of clients, including manufacturers as well as real estate investment trusts. Recently, Ms. Green handled a breach of contract action in an international arbitration proceeding governed by the International Chamber of Commerce which involved French, U.S. and Latin American assets.

Lawyers of Color Hot List honorees were chosen through a research process that included nominations submitted by mentors, peers and colleagues. The organization also made editorial picks based on research of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments or were active in legal pipeline initiatives.

Lawyers of Color, which was founded as On Being A Black Lawyer in 2008, has been recognized by the American Bar Association, National Black Law Students Association and National Association of Black Journalists.
