NextEra Energy Services Introduces Residential Electricity Services in New Hampshire

National energy provider with local NH presence to offer residential consumers a 25% savings off the current PSNH energy charge.

2013-06-23
HOUSTON, TX, June 23, 2013 (Press-News.org) Today, competitive energy provider NextEra Energy Services New Hampshire, introduced its electricity products to residential customers in New Hampshire. The company, which has served commercial customers in New Hampshire since 2010 is now offering electricity services to residential customers in the Public Service New Hampshire (PSNH) service territory, at a 25 percent savings off the residential service "energy charge" offered by PSNH as of May 31, 2013.

"Many consumers in New Hampshire know they have a choice in electricity suppliers, but they may not know how much they could save when they switch to NextEra Energy Services", said Tony Matthews, Vice President - Mass Markets, NextEra Energy Services. "We are a financially stable electricity provider committed to providing affordable services in New Hampshire that cut household electricity costs."

NextEra Energy Services is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources (NEER), the largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and sun in North America. NextEra Energy Services offers consumers an array of electricity plans, including ones that feature renewable energy, as well as a variety of term lengths. Residential customers currently served by PSNH and Unitil can learn more about NextEra Energy Services and sign up to receive service by visiting http://www.nexteraenergyservices.com or calling 1-855-262-3596. The enrollment process takes less than 15 minutes and there is no charge just to switch to NextEra Energy Services. The account number and service reference from a recent electricity bill is all that is needed to make the switch.

PSNH will continue to deliver electricity to consumers who switch to NextEra Energy Services, handle any emergencies and send their electricity bill each month, but these consumers could see significant savings on the energy charge portion of their bill.

NextEra Energy Services has a strong heritage of community involvement in the markets it serves, including serving as Presenting Sponsor of the 18th Annual Business and Industry Association Golf Classic. NextEra Energy Services is also a proud sponsor of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and this fall will sponsor the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival.
